Finally found out what I did to my engine

On the account of being lazy, I just now got my engine torn down and found out what I did to it. The engine has been sitting on a stand since late July.

Well it turns out that I spun 2 rod bearings. Didn't hurt the block at all but the crank and two connecting rods are f*cked. Now the only question is what do I do with it. I really like the low end torque that the TPI makes not to mention the way it looks. I was thinking about keeping the TPI and siamiesing(sp?) the lower intake and putting a set of larger runners on there (SLP or TPIS). The heads are getting ported but I'm going to stick with the stock valve sizes. The amount of extra material left on those heads is rediculous.

Decisions, decisions.

Assuming you have a 350, I would just stick with what you got and build it up a little. My friend had his 305TPI rebuilt and the shop screwed up something with the oil pump and the motor was toast on the way home. Needless to say, he had it rebuilt again, but had a mild cam, decent port job, shorty headers, and a siamesed runner intake put on and he ran low 13s. Guess now is a good time to figure out what your future goals are for the car.
