Fan Switch / Knock Sensor Wires

I put a hypertech fan switch in the rear passenger side cylinder head and it's not working. It's the 200 on 185 off and the car still runs at 220. I have a blue and a gray wire coming out of the wiring harness toward that direction. The blue wire goes to the knock sensor and the gray one goes to the fan switch. I just wanted to know if the wires are in the right place. Is there any way to test it with a volt meter ot test light, or just any other way to find out why it isn't working. The A/C is out of my car if that makes a difference.
thanks. Also which fan does the switch turn on the passenger or drivers one.
thanks for all the help!

If you have them crossed, I believe the ECM will trip a code.

Dark blue is the KS wire according to Chilton.

Not a clue. Bad wiring, bad relay, bad fan maybe. Take the wire going to the switch and ground it and see if the either fan comes on.
