Re: To carb or not to carb....

a z-rated tire means the side wall wont disenegrate at speeds over 150 miles an hour and disc/disc dosent offer the greatest stopping power

Re: To carb or not to carb....

disc/drum is the best setup because drum brakes offer greater stopping power but u have to use a disc brake in the fron for straight line stopping. drum brakes are self energizing which means the shoe is pushed into the drum then the drum grabs onto the shoe creating a wedging action. this is y when cars were drum/drum they had maual brakes and when disc brakes came out they had to use a power booster

Re: To carb or not to carb....

in a disc brake u push the disc against the rotor and thats it, disc/disc is for racing because disc brakes offer greater heat dissapation
