Camaro I might be looking at, opinions?

What do you guys think? I'm looking at this car, 91 RS, 117k miles, tint, remote keyless entry, alarm, TBI 305, but the bad thing is shown in the pics. The door seems to have been hit right where it meets the quarter and it's pretty banged up. The rest of the car is beautiful though and I could get a door for $300 from the junkyard. The guy is asking $1000, is it worth it?

the door isn't the problem, it's the body work involved with getting the rear jamb back to shape and good enough to line up with the door.

that ain't gonna be cheap. and you may have to worry about alignment of the latch and crap like that

but for $1000 it's tough to pass up, looks like it's in good shape.

Cool

Ensure that the alignment of the rear suspension is still good. If so, then $1000 is a pretty good deal. P.S. Black is always the best, haha.
