Its not possible to mix them up. Im assuming you got your figures from M/T which has the times as you posted them, however if you read the R/T comparison they are the same numbers only reversed where the SRT had the better time and GTO had the lesser. Exact same times reversed on the cars between the different mags. I hope I got the Mag names right

 

But you know what the GTO is just a basic GTO no GXP pakage or any other performance mods like the Charger SRT8. also the GTO was only marginally slower than the Charger and was another 15 grand. seems to me like the GTO would take on 5.7 HEMI. If you spent the extra 15 on mods for the GTO you would absolutly blow the doors off the Charger SRT8.

But it seem sto me that Dodge does just what it needs to bairly beat any compotion and thats what GM should stride to do beat everything in its compotion for each car and do with a good value in mind.

 

As I was saying, in the Motor Trend Comparison with no mods to either car, the GTO beat out the Charger SRT by about 3 hundredths, and in the Road and Track the Charger beat out the GTO with no mods by about 3 hundreths. Same cars but Im sure different drivers different day different temp different humidity. No mods needed the cars SRT and GTO are equally matched in the 1/4

 

I'd still take an 06 GTO over the Charger anyday, even if it wasn't faster.

 

Why hasn't the weight of the Camaro Concept been released? I know it's a concept, but why is GM not saying? I'm betting that concept weighed in at around 3800lbs easy.
