Looks like: Anything but a Camaro
Defining characteristics: Mustang wheel arches, Mustang fastback roofline, mullet-haired driver, Rush CDs
Ridiculous features: The above, because this isn't a Mustang
Chance of being mass-produced: Not bloody likely — unless they start over

Re: have you guys seen this...
First of all I want to set the record straight. The Dodge Challenger / Cuda were Mopar knock offs of the first gen Camaro. They were larger and heavier then, and I am willing to bet that the new Challenger will be larger and heavier in the future. Yeh dodge make a modern Hemi, but it is still based off of a iron block that was designed 15 years ago. If someone likes the new challenger more than the Camaro that's fine. But I can safely say this. For over thirty years the first gen Camro's ruled the streets. I know I was there. In a few more years the Gen5 Camaro will do the same. If you don't like the looks of the new Camaro then well TOOOOO BADDDD! I love it and can't wait for it to arrive. I'll be smoking Mudstangs and Mopars all over again.....
Re: have you guys seen this...
That momo likes Ford and from the looks of it drives a Mudstang. He has his opinion and we have ours.
What will speak for itself will be all the Mudstangs sitting on GM second hand lots cause they traded them in for a new Z28.
Also don't forget all the rock chips the Mudstangs will have from the Z28 as we leave them in the dust as they cry to thier mommy wishing they should of bought a real car.

Some people like to get attention by going against the grain, even thoug that grain is thousands of opinions. Sometime they don't realize they can get splinters.
With that said, when I read the article, it sounded to me like the writer liked the Camaro.

here's what I wrote to the site:
I read Joe Wiesenfelder's review of the Camaro concept car. I was shocked at how uninformed and blatantly biased and stereotypical Wiesenfelder was. As to the charge that it looks like a Mustang and not a Camaro, I would tell Mr. Wiesenfelder to compare a 1969 Camaro to the concept vehicle. He'd instantly notice the similar headlights, grille, rear vents, overall vehicle shape, etc. About the closest the Camaro concept comes to looking like a Mustang is in it's length. I would also like to point out that it was the Camaro, and NOT the Dodge Challenger, that took home the "Best in Show" award at the NAIAS. As for the mullet commment, I won't even dignify that with a response. It just goes to show how any regular idiot with a computer can call themselves a "journalist". Oh, and about the chances for production....Last I checked, the Camaro concept was getting rave reviews at the various auto shows, and in the automotive press as well. Although it's officially still a concept, plans are underway for the car to be put into production. Expect to see it in late 2008 as an '09 model.

The F35C has better range than the Hornet and the other JSF variants too.
