Camaro Concept Taillights
Re: Camaro Concept Taillights
Ohh goodness, that is interesting. that is very unusual design lol. I think it's Kool to see how people come up with the design and changed it. it's pretty goofy. You know what else is interesting ? the speed limits LOL

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights
I agree; after seeing that pic of the 'Panther' my interest in the history of the Camaro is growing more than usual. Wouldn't mind seeing more pics also.
I have two questions I thought of starting new threads over, but I don't like starting a thread unless I'm sure it will be of real interest to other people.
1) I wonder how easy it will be to see out of the new Camaro? Visibility is an issue with me, now more than ever. Getting a bit old, eyes not as great as they used to be. Driving the new Mustang I'm having a little trouble looking around me. No, I don't want the Camaro concept changed just for me, I'm just curious.
2) Also hope the seat belts are 'easy access' as we've discussed on other threads before.
Any opinions on this would be welcome, thanks.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights
I've got to admit that I'm beginning to get used to the tail lights of the concept.
Personally though, I like the design the used on the "Chevrolet SS" concept they did a few years ago. The tail lights were round like the early 2nd Gen's with a brushed aluminum/silver filler panel like that of the mid 2nd Gen's.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights
From the same book, there are two photos of the Panther in Rally Sport trim and one in Chaparral trim. The RS looks just like a 67 RS with the SS hood, the only difference being the fake hood vents are spread further apart. The only difference between the Panther and the final production Camaro is basically the tail lights.
There are also pictures of the clay with what looks like a Firebird rear bumper, no door vent windows (ala 1968) and the twin sets of round tail lights.
I really don't see a point in posting these, as the only difference is the tail lights.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights
I gotta agree about leaving the taillights alone. I wasnt a fan either until I saw them in person this past weekend. And like everyone who has seen it said, it does really look better in person.
