Camaro Concept Taillights

I love the rest of the car, but the taillights just don't look Camaro to me. I really wanted to see some that wrapped around the rear corners like the '74-02 models. Is anyone interested in photoshopping the idea?

I don't think they will make it to production... but I think they are pretty nice myself, definately different, not expected.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights

I'm liking the quad taillights on the concept, especially with the "afterburner" look they've got on with the center rounded parts.

Honestly the big solid wraparound taillights have been used too much, we've had em for like 25 years straight... I'm not really going to complain either way though, such a small part of a great looking concept.

I like how the round quad tail lights bring the 2nd generation into the car.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights

How about connecting them together. The 69 taillights were were a long rectangular shape. Not necessarily wrapped around the side. That is the only thing that I would change about the concept Camaro. I hope GM builds it. I think it looks great!

Hmm, I never really made that connection. I guess that was what they were doing.

I just saw it as too much 'Vette' influence in a place where it shouldn't be. I was thinking it would look better with the 69 Z28 style tail lights somehow incorporated.

Re: Camaro Concept Taillights

I must be strange because I love them! The lines fit well with the rest of the rear end and they bring the second gen into the car. They're original and iconic as well.

The issue may be mute however since they may not even make it to the production car.

They're actually a cross between the 1968 rs tail lights and the original Panther (Camaro) concept tail lights from 1966.

i think the chopped tail lights in this thread look like ****. Rices it up.

I love the tail lights on the concept, but I would also like to see some 70s style tail-lights... maybe even corvette like
