Camaro moved up to 2008?
Didn't see this posted but I know you guys are really good at digging up the latest news and rumors, so sorry if this is a repost.
Not much here, one sentence at the end of the Blue Devil blurb on AutoWeek "One other hot rumor swirling around Detroit: Camaro produciton has been moved forward, from 2009 to 2008." What's their source(s), doesn't say, maybe just speculation? We can only hope.

everything points to asap. Enclave will probably be 18 months so provided the interior doesnt get a complete overhaul and the exterior is as is, I dont think Camaro is too far behind.
Of course thats just my opinion...

I believe it is already on the fast track. GM has a golden opportunity for a 40th anniversary that I don't think they'll miss.
I think we'll be able to thank the people behind the scenes for this - doing everything they can to expedite the project process. They are people who are experienced and who know what the program managers are going to be looking for, thus anticipating managements' requests. They did just that with the concept, making it production ready. I believe they're doing the same thing right now.
