I have two smaller (silver) Jada r/c camaros that my two year old loves to play with. I guess that is that. Man he loves those cars. Now I have to take them away.

Do you have a source for the recall?

We already went through the crying and such with our 5 year old daughter with the Poly Pocket recalls. How long is it going to take the Chinese to figure things out?

With all that being said, they will have to pry my 1:6th scale Camaro from my cold dead fingers.

 

No I dnt, But if the kids dont stick it in their mouths its not a problem.
I mean almost all the hot wheels are made in China

I have a large R/C Jada Silver Concept, and just picked up a 1/24 scale BumbleBee @ NAIAS a couple of weeks ago.
I love the detail in my Bumblebee, doors, hood & trunk all open too.
I will keep it, but will watch about the kids touching it...
But I won't buy any more!!!
D@mn Chinese...We should starting testing everything they ship over here.

Can anyone post a source or show any proof that there is a lead paint issue with the Jada stuff or that there has been a recall? Like many here, I've got a number of their products now and after reading this thread starting trying to do some investigation but I can't find any news links or legal links that make any mention of Jada and lead paint. It wouldn't surprise me if it's true, but it would be nice to have something more official than what's been posted here so far.

 

Yeah man, ditto. I think most of GM's red shades cheapen the look of their cars. But that shade would be nasty.. its like a candy apple red, but its got a lot of depth to it. I'd buy it.

 

My right rear wheel shattered on a curb and I can't get replacements from Jada.....damn.
