The Fed-ex guy showed up last night with a big package from Walmart for my wife. I brought it in to my wife who was wrapping Christmas presents with a big smile on my face and said, "You'd better wrap this one too." She gave me a strange look and said, "What the heck is that?" Then she noticed the writing on the side of the box and quipped, "Oh my God... its HUGE!!".

That brought a tear to my eye, as those are words I never thought I'd hear my wife utter.

I was at my local WalMart for the first time yesterday (there's another store that's closer, bigger, and nicer, but WalMart is the only place that carries what I needed), and I saw a stack of about two dozen of those. Pretty sweet, and frickin huge!

Heck yeah, I get mine today! I just wish they had the red one. I might go to WalMart to see if they have the red one for $35.

Damn, talk about spending some dough.

Sounds sweet though. Get some pics up when you're done. I'm gonna have to take my red one back because it's all scratched on the roof, etc. I might just stick with one silver one and call it that.

The one I got in the mail has some scratches on the roof. That's why I kept the one I got at WalMart for $64 until the $35 one came. I'm gonna return the scratched one to the store and give the unscratched one as the gift. Why, I don't know because my nephew is gonna scratch it all up anyway...

Yeah, our wal-mart took their display down too

Fella's don't toss/trade in your red cars. Mine was scratched to **** too, but because I figured I'd never get another one, I kept it. I used a paint scratch remover for cars. I rubbed it into the roof really well and it took out 99% of the scratches. The color is "soft" and will actually "bleed" so you can basically "buff" them out. Only took me about 10 minutes or so

Looks good as new, I LOVE IT!

I'm away on vacation now, but I can take a pic or two next week.

Ya mine was scratched to HELL on the roof. I didnt really care cause as soon as I got it out of the package I started taking it apart. Right now I have the body completely apart and Im ordering the paint for it this week.
Im doing the corvette copper metallic color on the bottom and a dark gunmetal metallic on the top, also painting the grill, the center of the wheels and gas lid gunmetal. Im leaving the wheel lips chrome. its gonna be badass once I get it done. Jada kicks *** and made this very very easy to take apart and paint, everything comes off the body except the two side windows. This means next to no taping and when everything goes back together itll have absolutely no over spray.

Cult status

This thing has a cult following on the various F-Body sites. I think there are at least five threads going on about this thing.

Mine came today by FedEx. Can't wait for Christmas.
