Just sold my SS and now I'm driving my beater Jeep.

It's really hard not having a fun car to toy around in and I don't know how long I can hold out. If I know I'll be able to order by the end of the year I think I can deal with that.

 

Well, no one really knows for sure yet...... but Scott, in his own little way, has said that the official production Camaro will be unveiled to the public in September (remember the thread where he said to be in Indianapolis on Sept. 23rd?).

Again, he did not SAAAAAY that verbatum. But we've been on this forum long enough to understand him and pretty much speak his language

He also said prices are usually not finalized untill litterally a couple of days before the production car is released.

Having said all that, any dealer would be more than happy to put your name on their list for a (phe)nominal fee. But as for actually being able to order the car from GM in their computer system, I would not think you could untill at least November or December.

3rd fiscal quarter of 2009 is spring of calendar year 2009 (we are in 2nd q. of FY 08 right now), and q3 of FY 09 is when full scale production is slated to begin.

 

Well, if they're building them in the 4Q of this year, they're not going to build it unless someone ordered it.
