93 Z28 Turn off Traction Control???

My friend has a 94 and he has a switch by his shift stick... what should I do? my friend said I could hard wire a switch some place but he said it would shut off my ABS?!

1993's do not have it. It wasn't an option either. Though we do have "LOW TRAC" lights. Our vehicles lack the "torque management" feature that bottleneck's a lot of Gen 4 cars power.

So basically your saying that 1993 Z28's have less power than 94-97's???

If so was Chevy thinking???

The “LOW TRAC” light serves two purposes. It lights up when the ABS system is active (93-97 LT1) and when the TCS is active (optional 95-97 LT1 only).

I'll take a look at the 93 factory service manual, because I don't recall this light on when key is off problem cropping up in the past. Or you could do a free download of the 1993 factory service manual, courtesy of GaryDoug :
