You are far better off without it.

Mine didn't have it. There were times where i wished it did, but overall better tires are more effective.

Re: Is traction control factory on all Z28?

No..

Traction Control Cars have a 4 channel ABS system (1 reluctor wheel at each corner) vs 3 channel(out back, the reluctor wheel is on the diff) on non TCS cars. So, at least on paper, the TCS equipped cars have better ABS.

Also, if you ever move up to a 9" ford, its supposidly easier to keep ABS on a 4 channel ABS, because they have room to mount the reluctor wheels on the axles.. Most 9" center sections don't have room for a 3 channel abs wheel

All cars have ABS, but not all have traction control, and the low trac light could come on with vehicles not equiped with traction control, when the speed is different between the fron and rear sensors.

traction control is worthless, if you stomp on it and the ASR kicks in then it feels like you ripped your transmission out. all it does it bog your car down, if you think it that it could with racing because it keeps you from spinning your wrong, your better off spinning than having that kick in.

i think that i might of misworded my question. I just need to know if My car
(98Zauto) has traction control. When i punch it from a dead stop the tires spin very very mild barely at all and i want them to fry off, and not at all around corners. How do i turn it off if my car has traction control?
