MAF Questions

Hey,
I have a few questions about mass airflow sensors. First, is it worth buying a SLP or otherbrand? Also, if you take the screen out of the stock mass will that help with more airflow? Please let me know thanks.

some guys say removing the screen helps some say it doesnt.... i have the ls6 maf and think that its good enough....

Mafs are really a waste of money, and stock or near stock cars. I'd just take the screen out of the stock one and be done with it.
