For stock or basically stock, go with the Predator.
If you get into the serious stuff like H/C, stroker, blower...go with a custom tune or get LS1edit (DIY tune)
I would never even consider an HPP.

dont waste your money on either....do mods like maf,intake,exhaust,cutout headers,.....then when u get major mods like heads cam......get ls1 edit and it will do u a lot more good

The reason this came across is I am changeing my gears and i need something for the spedo.... someone told me about this so I wanted to see what is the best for my money.
