E-Brake?

When ever I pull the E-brake up the Brake light doesn't come on. Also when I start up the car the Headlights just turn on even with the brake up. It's like the car doesn't even sense the E-Brake... Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Re: E-Brake?

Ever spill a drink in your console?

Pull the center console and take a look at the brake switch. You'll see it at the base of the handle. If it's gunked up, you can clean it with alcohol or "tech spray".

If that doesn't fix it, replace the switch.
