neon help

hey i think this is the right group. anyway i have neon pedals for my car. and every place i hook the wire up to they shut off after i shut the door. sometimes they will work if i have my dome light and map lights on. but other then that i can never get them to stay on like with the headlights or dash or anything. any help?

hook the power for the pedals to your wire for the parking lights, so when you turn your headlights on the pedals come on. if its for one of the cars in your signature use the brown wire found behind the drivers kick panel, make sure to test it with a multimeter it should read 0volts until you turn the parking lights on then it should go to 12v.
