Neon light question

First of all if it says that it is a 10" neon does that mean that the overall length is 10" or the neon itself is 10"? I am putting one under both the driver and passenger side dashes and am not sure if I need the 10" or 15" neons. And are the neons in this picture (3rd pic) the black light neons or the purple neons? These are pics of Aircop40s slick ride. I hope he don't mind me posting the link. Thanks.

I have the 10" streetglow neo blues, they're 10" overall. The transformer is built into the rod so actual neon length is about 5-6"

Yeah bro go with the license plate frames. That's what i did with my Z and it looks great- lights up the front and back floorboards very well. Also, the install is easier- no drilling mounting holes or anything. The plate under my passenger's seat slid around too much so i just zip-tied it to the metal "caging" on the underside of the seat and it works just the same suspended as it does sitting there. I helped a friend install some blue license plate frames in his silver frontier and they look sweet as well. Walmart sells blue and purple for sure- autozone has green and i think maybe red.
But if you want blacklight, you will have to get tube neons. Good luck. Email me at Jaybaste7@aol.com if you want to see a pic of my neons. lata,

Those are the purple tubes, not the blacklight ones.

Thanks guys. One more question for ya. Do you think that a 15" Neon would fit under the dash on both the driver and passenger side? I would measure but I've got the car put up. Thanks

I measured it a while back, and if I remember correctly, it was exactly 15".
Don't quote me on that though, you will want a second opinion.
