z06's + 335 hoosiers with flared fenders

just posting this link up in here for anybody thinking about flaring their fenders or trying to fit these tires in. it was a lot more work than i expected but worked out in the long run. hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes. as in dont cut your fenders, ROLL THEM! i cut mine a few years back, had to reseal them and then when i tried using the eastwood fender roller i just totally messed up my fenders and brand new paint job. spent a lot of time with a sledge hammer on the inside rear fenders even put a hole in one of them and had to reseal that as well. had to get it all fixed. its all good now. but hope this will help if anybody has any questions let me know.

here's the link to the pics...

It looks like the work was worth it. And it also looks like any traction issues you once had are now solved.

as for the tires, they dont seem to do as well until you heat them up. i rolled into it in 2nd and sprayed and they wouldnt grab but after burning them up a little they did a lot better. i liked having my bfg's on cause they were a lot softer but i like the way these look a lot better

My 95 impala SS has 335 hoosiers on the rear. Gotta love that look. Framerails had to be notched for the 17x11's though. Car looks good..
