Will these fit my 02 Z28..?
Will these fit my 02 Z28..?
Will these fit my 02 Z28 w/out any mods? 99 C5 vette wheels:
17x8.5 fronts are 58mm offset
18x9.5 rears are 65mm offset
What size tires are reccomended front/rear so that the sidewalls match or at least look similar. I dont want "fat" sidewalls on front & "skinny" sidewalls on rear. Anybody know what looks good? And fits good?
Thanks Guys!

I'm not familiar with those particular wheels, but if the bolt pattern is 5 x 4.75 then it will fit. 18" wheels will generally carry smaller sidewall tires than 17" wheels. You could try 255/?/17(not sure on the exact aspect ratio) in the front and 255/40/18 in the rear to more closely match the sidewalls. Check out the Wheel/Tire FAQ sticky and educate yourself as a buyer. It will explain what offset, aspect ratio, wheel diameter etc mean and how it applies to you. Look at Lakeshore Wheel and Tire. They have rim and tire combos you can compare that are the same if not very similar to what you have in mind. You can also email them your questions and talk to people in the business. Good luck!

You don't want to match the sidewall height, you want to keep the outside diameter of the tire the same, front and rear, and as close to the factory diameter as possible. Matching the sidewall, making the front tire 1" smaller will give the car a 1/2" rake, with the front sitting lower than the rear. It would also make the gap from the top of the tire to the fender 1/2" larger. The front and rear wheels will now be turning at different speed. You also don't want to use the same section width (255), as suggested above, on an 8.5" wide wheel and a 9.5" wide wheel.
For the back you want 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 and in the front a 245/45-17. That gives you similar tire diameters. If you insist on a smaller tire in the front, 245/40-17 or 255/40-17.
The 17x8.5 58mm adds 3/8" to the back of the wheel, and 1/8" to the front of the wheel, compared to a stock 16x8" wheel, so they will fit fine. May sit a bit "deep" in the wheel well, but won't rub on anything.
18x9.5 65mm adds about 1-1/8" to the rear of the wheel, and only 3/8" to the front of the wheel, compared to stock. The inside edge of the tire is getting closer to the inside edge of the inner fender liner, and with a wide tire might ***possibly*** lead to some rubbing, but not likely. Again, that wheel is going to sit fairly deep in the wheel well, well inside the fender.
