Widest tire for Salad Shooters

I have a 94 Z28. I just won some Salad Shooters on Ebay. They are 16x8.

What is the widest tire I can fit on this wheel.

I want some 275 Drag Radials but don't want them to look stupid or not fit.

Help a brother out.

Dan

The problem is finding a drag radial in 16" sizes other than 245/50 or 255/50. I haven't seen 275's, at least not from M/T, BFG, Nitto or Hoosier (check Goodyear??). M/T makes a 315, but it requires a 10" wide wheel, and is too large a diameter.

Do you have a link to the dimension for the 305? M&H does not list them on their website:

I suspect "B" means they are bias-ply tires, not radials. That's why they are not listed in the "Drag Radial" section, but in the "Street & Strip" section. It would have an "R" if it was a radial.

What kind of tires are you runing on the front?
