Most manufacturers recommend a 295/30-19 as the widest tire on a 19x10" wheel. If you wanted to push things, you could try a 305/30-19, but typically that tire needs a 10.5" wide wheel.

You are aware the stock C6 19x10 wheels have a huge offset (79mm) and require a billet adapter/spacer, as documented in the "sticky" at the top of the "Wheels and Tires" forum topic page?

ill need 4 adapters. if i get them and get those size tires all the way around, will the rim stick out further than the fender?? or will it have any clearance issues? help

Thumbs down

19x10 on all four? You'd be better off with a staggered setup like 17x8 or 18x8 up front. your speedo is going to be horribly off my friend.

Why will his speedo be "horribly off"? If he uses the correct diameter tires, it doesn't matter what diameter the wheels are.

What he said. Speedo will not be off if he stays with the same height.

Although I wouldn't run 19x10's all the way around. For sure go with a staggered setup.

yall have changed my mind. I love the c6 wheels so im gonna go with the 19x10 on the rear with the adapters.... and im going to go with the 18x8.5 up front. The stock sizes. The front ones will bolt right up right?

would i have any problems then?

You would have to check the offset of the front ones. The Corvette wheels have way too positive of an offset if you are running OEM wheels. The aftermarket vette wheels, however, are made in the right offsets for our cars.

The OEM 18x8.5" wheels have a 58mm offset, and should fit OK on the front.

245/40R18 would be good.

gotcha injuneer. I just didn't see the sense in such wide tires up front. And rarely do I see people use the correct diameter tires Most people overlook that from what I've seen around here, along with the faq that is stickied as well.

I understand the aspect of rotating tires, but in my opinion really wide tires up front makes no sense.

I WAS going to run stock C6 rims all the way around, 18x8.5 front and 19x10 rear, but changed my mind and I AM going to be running the 19x10's all the way around. I'll be running 275/30/19 tires on all 4 corners. I've also decided to buy new tires.

However, I bought USED Michelin Pilot Sport tires in 255/35/18 for the front and 275/30/19 for the rear and now that I've decided to go with new tires, I've decided to sell the used tires. I'll let them go for $220 + shipping (from 31216) which is what I've got in them. I've got pics of the front tires at the link in my sig., and I'll be happy to send pics of the rear if you're interested. All tires have about 50% life left in them.

The reason you want to run 255/35/18 and 275/30/19 is because They're the closest to the stock sized F-Body tires (25.5" vs. 25.7" stock), the sidewall difference isn't as noticeable since the sidewalls are actually taller on the front tires if you go with 245/40/18, and they're within a 1/2" of each other in the overall height and that won't trigger the ABS light.

You can email me at blk98zm61@hotmail.com if you're interested.
