Wheel/tire Questions

I'm looking to get some Z06 rims and I have some questions, hopefully with pics. I'm trying to decide between 4 17x9.5s or 17x9.5s in the front and 18x9.5s in the rear. I'll be going with 275s all around. I have a '95 Camaro. Has anyone done this, and how does it look? Also, what tires should I go with? I'm looking at FALKEN GR BETA FK-451 B's. Does anyone have these? I'll be lowering my car 1" soon, would the 18's rub or anything? Also, I have very little knowledge of tire sizes, would 275/40-17 in the front and 275/35-18 in the rear look alright? Thanks in advance.

Re: Wheel/tire Questions

If you're going to be going with 18's in the rear, you'll need to go with a 285/35R18 which will be .19" taller than the 275/40R17's in the front.

The 18's will not rub with an Eibach Pro Kit.

Re: Wheel/tire Questions

Thanks, I was actually hoping you'd reply. Which tires would you recommend for the best price/performance?

You've actually listed the best compromise between the two. I've heard nothing but good out of the 451's.

Give me a call today at 1-800-707-8473 ext 434 and I'll get you in on the last day of the special pricing.

Unfortunately I won't have the money for about another week or so. Think you can extend it for a poor cz28 member? .

Re: Wheel/tire Questions

If you run the 18's in the rear will they stick out past the body?

Re: Wheel/tire Questions

I'm hoping for that too, since I'll be going with the Eibach Pro Kit. Sorry to keep asking, but just covering all my bases.. 275s won't rub when turning, right?

Not as long as you get the correct combination of wheel width and offset. The diameter of the wheel does not affect how far the wheel "sticks out"..... only width and offset.

Re: Wheel/tire Questions

Honestly I did know that. I want a clean look not a skateboarded look. If it is going to look like crap I just keep my Speedlines.
