Wheel (Rim) Width

Have a 1984 Z28 and want to purchase new wheels that are 15" x 8" w/3.75" backspacing. Would this size of wheel still allow full range of steering motion?

That will move the front wheel out about 5/8" farther than the stock 16x8" wheel. Shouldn't present too much of a problem with the steering.
