Spacers
i got an 89 camaro rs i have a set of 02 ss 10 spoke wheels silver painted i would like to put them on,but do i need spacers??and if so what sizes spacers do i need..any one could help me,thanks
The 3rd Gen rear axle assembly is about 3" narrower than the 4th Gen. As a result, you need adapters (not spacers) that move each wheel out from the hub about 1-1/2" to 2", depending how close you want the edges of the tires to the outside edge of the fenders. Note also that the front and rear wheel offset is different on the 3rd Gens.
This site has the adapters, and knows best how to put 4th Gen wheels on a 3rd Gen. Might be worth asking for their recommendations:

A spacer is a thin plate that slips over the stock studs, usually requiring longer studs. It is sandwiched between the hub and the wheel. Sort of risky, since the longer you make the studs, the greater the chances of overstressing them in bending.
An adapter is a billet plate that bolts to the hub using the stock length studs, then has its own set of studs to bolt the wheel to.

You risk all when using adapters and spacers, and if you're like me, I'd never use them if I were you just for the sake of safety. There are plenty of good wheels to use on 3rd gens that would fit without the use of spacers/adapters.
10 spokes wouldn't look good imo on a 3rd gen anyways...

You need to do a little research on the adapters. They are frequently used in highly loaded off-road setups. Because of the way they fasten to the hubs, and the way the wheel fastens to the adapter, the stud loads are still primarily shear and tensile loads, identical to stock.
