Rims Performance
Rims Performance
Does anyone have zr-1 rims on thier car? Where did you buy yours at for cheap (silver painted) and i need the 315 sizes for the back and 275's for the front. Any Ideas? My new 383 stroker LT-1 needs tires that will hook up and wheels that look great!
The "ZR1" replica has to be about the most popular replacement wheel for the 4th Gens, because of the availability of the 17x11 wheels for the rear. Be sure to get the correct offset.
Front: 17x9.5" 56mm offset. 275/40-17 (I've been running 275's on the front of my 94 for almost 9 years..... what's wrong with them?? I've never had a problem, and they stick like glue. GM used them as the stock tires on the WS6 and SS coupes.)
Rear: 17x11" 50mm offset. 315/35-17 tire. They also make a 36.5mm offset, but that moves the tire/wheel slightly outside the fender line. Some inner fender hammering, and cutting the projecting edge of the jounce bumper bracket MAY be necessary.
AFS sells their wheels on eBay for less $$$ than they sell them from the "factory".
