I was told by numerous people that 22-25 PSI on 245 Nitto's is feasable for a daily driver for the street. They claim the Nitto's wear on the outside if the PSI is higher. Is this correct? I dropped the PSI down to 22 for the street, and will most likely drop it to 19 or so at the track. Only making a few track passes on them before I get Mickey Thompsons. I think 22 PSI was kind of awkward at first. Anyone oppose, recommend it?

 

i had mine at about 30-35 on the street and then back down to 20 for hooking

 

I ran mine @ about 35 on the street, and they wore normal, I don't know about running them that low on the street, maybe for the track. At the track I dropped to about 18-20, anyhting less or more, and they didn't want to hook as well.

 

I have had numerous amounts of people, even done a poll on the tire pressure, more than 50% say 22-25 for the street on a daily driven vehicle....So I guess I'll go with that.

 

I run mine around 20-22 on the street and have had no problems at all.

 

I run mine around 22psi on the street, NOT 30!!

 

guess i really messed that up when i went to the track i lowered them down to about 13-15ish and the hooked alright and at like 30psi would spin everywhere on the street
