newb question

Will 12mm and 1/2 inch studs fit onto most wheels without any modification? Say I have my stock 12mm studs and wanted to up it to 1/2 inch, would I need to modify my wheel in any way to make it fit?

thanks

Andrew

Most wheels, including the stockers have adequate clearance for 1/2" studs. The wheels typically are not centered by the studs, but by the tapered cone on the lug nut. I have 12mm studs in the front, and 1/2" in the back, and every wheel I've ever put on the car fit fine in either location.

The difference between 12mm and 1/2" is less than 3/100ths of an inch.
