Latest on spare tire for C5 brakes

I recall this has been kicking around for years, and searching brought up much of the same info- the difference in bolt circle is the devil.
I have a 94 TA with C5 brakes on Bob Bishop's brackets, and have to run a spacer with Enkei WIN 17" wheels
Clearly my OE 16" spare wont fit. and a nearly 27 y.o tire doesn't reassure me either.

Does anyone have big brakes and use modern spare wheel and tire (CTS, current Camaro, etc)?
How much of an issue is the 0.65 mm difference in bolt circle and does the spare tire assy fit in the well?

Thanks

If these are serious questions (and not just a way to build post count), you need to START A NEW THREAD OF YOUR OWN. Stop tacking your topic onto someone else's thread. That is considered "Hijacking" and it not allowed.

What is a "haggle"? What is the year and model of your car? Need that info to answer your question.
