im looking at getting these rims for my 99 TA but im still alittle confused what size and offset to go with,i want all of them to be the same size looks like 17x9 or 18x9 is going to be best for this, and now i need to know what offselt to go with i would like the rims to set about flush or a little past the opening,so any pics and info would help alot

Look at the 2nd page of the "FAQ" stickied at the top of the "Wheels and Tires" forum topic listing. It tells you what offset will work for each specific wheel width, and where the tire/wheel will sit relative to the fender edge. I believe that the TT II's come in 17x9.5" with a 45mm offset, which will fit just fine, and be pushed toward the outside edge of the fender.

Page 1 of the FAQ shows the tire widths that will fit on a given wheel width, and what tire sizes match the stock tire diameter (no speedo reprogramming required). Typically, you would run a 275/40-17 or a 285/40-17 on a 17x9.5" wide wheel.

I don't know what sizes the 18" TT II's come in, but you would typically be looking at the same offset, and either a 275/35-18 or 285/35-18 tire.

There is a picture of an LS1 T/A, with 17x9.5" TT II's on the front, again in the FAQ.... look for the post about putting 17x11" wheels on a 4th Gen.
