goodyear eagle gs-c equal or better
I am looking for a P245/50ZR16 goodyear eagle gs-c. I got a nail in one tire and am sol. I dont really need a new one because my tires only have around 17,000mi on them. The reason I posted in here is because I wanted to ask what a good replacement tire for the goodyear eagle gs-c tire is? I thought about perelli or nitto. I really wanted to stay with the gs-c but a new one is around 250$.
thanks
thanks

The Goodyear GS-C was developed for the C4 Corvettes..... this is 15-20 year old tire technology. Not sure I'd want to even continue to use an 11 year old set of tires with such outdated technology, even if they only have 17K miles on them. If you really want one, Tire Rack has them for $177.
I will say I had decent results with the 275/40-17 GS-C, getting over 40K miles out of them and then selling them because they still had 1/3 of the tread left. Dry traction was decent, considering I was pushing 425rwHP through them. The current Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, Michelin Pilot Sport PS2, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A or S-03 Pole Position, Pirelli P-Zero Nero all show up at the top of Tire Rack's comparitive survey results.
