C6 rims on a 97 trans am.....How??

Well i just picked up a set of 18X9.5 and 19X10.5 factory C6 rims. So now i want to know if these wheels will fit on my 97 trans am.

Do i need any backspacers and if so what size?

Also should i stick with a factory 285 or is that too small? MAybe a 295 for the rear and a 275 for the front.

I'm not looking at hacking anything up to get these to fit.

Everything I have seen indicates the factory C6 wheels (not Z06) are 18x8.5" (58mm offset) front, and 19x10.0" (79mm offset) rear.

Skulte Designs has some dimensions for the stock C6 wheels that don't agree with yours either.... 18x8.5" (58mm) front and 19x10.0" (79mm) rear.

The 79mm offset in the back requires a spacer. Read the last post in the FAQ thread.
