Curb rash repair?

Curb rash repair?

Is it at all possible to repair curb rash on rims? I have a set of rims that are ok except for the scrapes on em. The other problem is that I have never seen another car with the same rims, and they are not made anymore.

I have fitapaldi 17" rims.

What's the "finish" on the rims? Chrome is impossible to fix without stripping and rechroming. A polished wheel can be sanded and repolished if the scratches aren't too deep. A painted wheel can be sanded an repainted. Depends what the finish it and how deep the scratches are.
