Bad Tire Wear

The rear tires on my SS are wearing on the insides of each tire, and starting to show some wire. What can cause this to happen and how can i fix it?

Re: Bad Tire Wear

Have the tires been rotated? The SS will wear the inside of the front tires and so rotation is important to get the full wear. Usually wear on the inside of the rears is because they used to be on the front. If not, it would seem that the only way you would wear the inside of rears is a bent axle but that would have to be pretty severe & noticeable bend.

If they havent been rotated, take it to an alignment shop for a 4 wheel or rear wheel alignment check.
