Rear End question.

I have a 98 V6 with the Performance Handling Package. It's in the final steps of it's turbo modification and if all goes well, should put about 350 bhp at the wheels. I will take this car to the strip and have decided on BFG Comp TA Drag Radials 2 on an extra set of stock 16" wheels. While researching tires on this forum I stumbled on peoples comments on the rear end of the camaro breaking using certain tires.

Should I be concerned?
What would cause the rear end to break?

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Rear End question.

From what i have read, and their is alot to read. M6(manuel 6 speed) car are much harder on the rears than A4 (automatics). Since u are going with a turbo V6 i am guessing you are not going to be comming of the line with enuf power to worrie about breaking the rear, but i am sure it could happen. Seems like it is mostly luck when it comes to the rears. But the good part is that you can get another used one for around $200-$300.
