Anyone regret getting their 17x11"s?

I'm getting ready to order a set of 17x9.5" / 17x11" from AFS and I was just wondering if anyone wishes they hadn't done this setup. I was going to go with the 9.5" all the way around but changed my mind at the last minute. I'm having second thoughts because of the clearance issues, bumpstop issues, and possible mis-aligned rearend issues with the bigger rims.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i love mine, theres nothing sweeter than looking at a 315 or 335 tire on the back! it just makes the car look mean.

Does AFS still sell the ZR1's? I was looking at their website yesterday, and they no longer list the F-Bodys, only the Corvette, and the only wheel they show for the Corvette it a 10-spoke Z06 wheel.

I noticed the same thing Injuneer. They're still selling them on ebay like crazy though. Not sure why their website doesn't list them. I'm going to call them today.

I called AFS and they're still offereing the ZR1 replicas. I'm picking up a set tomorrow with Sumo HRTZ tires already mounted. I hope those tires are worth a flip (160 treadwear reating).

I couldn't have been happier when I got rid of mine. The fender lips would cut my tires when I launched at the track, no matter how many times you hammer the inside of the well, there are always new marks where the tire has been rubbing, and the tires throw massive amounts of whatever you drive through on your rear bumper cover.
I have a friend with the 11s now and he is looking to trade the pair for 17x9.5s.

I now run 19x10s in the rear with 295/30/19s and they are wide enough to look badass from the rear, yet narrow enough not to rub on anything.

Too bad you couldn't get ZR1s in a 17x10.25 and get a 295/37.5/17, now that would be perfect.

Well guys, I whimped out.

I ordered the 17x9.5"s all the way around. I'd love the have the 'big dawgs' in the back but I'm not ready to deal with any issues that may arise from the bigger tires. This car is going to be my daily driver for the next 6 months or so and maybe after that I'll grab some larger wheels/tires for the rear. Thanks for everyone's response, I really appreciate it.

Even with clearance issues, I think 315s are worth it. I got TTIIs on this one and I think the offset was different than with the ZR1s I had on the 95, other than grinding the bumpstops and a couple spots on the front section of the liner, I've had no clearance issues. Actually, the 275s on the front will rub occassionally in parking lots.
