94 Z28 rims on a 2000 Z28

im quite sure there will be no fitment issues between a LT1 camaro rim and a LS1 rim but i was asking to make sure there will be no issues, we are swapping rims b/c i like her's better. both the set of rims are original OEM rims, so is there anything special that must be done or is it a straightforward swap? thanks

94-2002 Z28 wheels sizes (16/17) are the same. LT1/LS1 are the engine type and have nothing to do with the wheel fitment.

Late LT1 wheels and LS1 wheels need some minor modification done to the hub area to fit on an early LT1 car.....

But the early wheels fit later cars without issue, so you're OK!

I had a friend that had problems using LT1 rims on his LS car.....the center was too small on the rear.......he had to sand it a little but other than that everything was fine

Hmmmmm... I've only ever heard of the rear hub problem working the other way (late wheels on an early car). But the fix is the same.

93-96 wheels will fit any 4th gen, 97-02 wheels will fit only 97-02 unless you want to sand out the center of your rim a bit. (In my case, I did.)

Wrong forum... look at the FAQ at the top of the "Wheels and Tires" Forum.

I'll move the post there.

her car is a 94 mine is a 2000, so her rims will fit on my car no problem? or will i have to sand down my hub? and on her car to get it to accept my rims i will have to sand the inside of the rim, do i have this correct?
