Space Shuttle Tragedy

"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink; but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."

-Thomas Paine

God Bless the men and women of the Space Shuttle Columbia. They are gone but their work in the exploration of space will never be forgotten. They are truly hero’s to our country. America needs to stay strong once again and over come this tragedy.

I'm in Lubbock at school right now so I don’t have any personal story about this tragedy to post. My Dad back in Fort worth said it sounded like something heavy fell over in the up stairs of our house. Does anyone else have a personal story? Did anyone see it? Has anyone found any debris?

Yeah it is very sad. I work for WOAI, and went to Nacadoches on a live shot. It was very scary to see the charred remains of the shuttle... You felt really sad knowing, that those poor people could not do a thing to save their lives.
