non-ss headers in snow/rain?? How do they hold up?

I am going to be getting headers soon and am wondering how you guys think getting normal, coated mild steel headers would hold up in Chicago? I really don't want to buy something that will rust in a year but with pacesetters I could get everything for half the price it would cost to get nice SS headers like kooks. Plus, the gains seem to be similar between the two.

For those of you who have mild steel headers and live in snow prone areas like chicago, how are your headers holding up?
TIA
