What kind of Oil Pressure do ya'll have?
I was driving home last night and the engine was already warmed up and I was running exactly 80 on the oil pressure gauge. It was 55-65 degrees outside and I was driving 75 MPH. Sometimes when the motor is cold it will go off the scale and read 85-90! It never drops below 70 unless I'm slowing down or stopping. It this pretty good?
Mine is usually at 60 while driving and slightly less while idling after the car is warm. Its higher when i start it cold untill it warms up. We have to remember these arent exactly the most accurate gauges on the earth. I use them only as a reference to detect a problem. Even then no oil pressure probably means a bad gauge or sending unit. If you want a accurate reading change the gaugue out.
