putting chrome tips on exhaust

i have the edelbrock catback system on my car, it has two tailpipes that go out the back. I want to put on some chrome tips but the tailpipes curve downward. Is this possible without too much hasstle? Like without cutting alot of pipes and welding? Thanks -

Jason

Go to your local auto parts store and ask for exhaust tips. Most places sell a descent selection of tips that attach with a couple screws.

Personally, I would get some nice tips welded on... I've never been a fan of "fake tips"

If your turn downs do not clear the bumper but at least the length of the pipe, meaning the pipe before the turndown hangs lower than you bumper you will need to drop the set up down before you put tips on it. Other wise you tips will point down at an angle and people will laugh. I guy i used to work with had the eddlebrock rpm series cat back and the turn downs, and he changed the hangers on the section after the rear axle, i think theres two. The rear section than hung low enough to put tips that stuck stright out the back on.
