Here is whats going on. I'll drive my car and park it. Pull the e-brake and lock the car (keyless entry/exit). The car horn beeps twice and the security system comes on.

However, when I go back to my car, I'll unlock it (using the keyless entry remote) and get in my car and try to start it.. and nothing happens, no dash lights come on, nothing.. ZIP! But... when I get out of the car to check on something (after nothing happens) the security light flickers on and off really really fast and I hear a clicking sound coming from within the dash.

Needless to say, I've gotten the car to start after a few minutes, and as weird as it may sound.. all I had to do was release the e-brake and it works just fine.

This has only happened 2 times to me and I've parked the car and used the e-brake in between each. I have absolutely no idea what is wrong and my e-brake theory sounds completely stupid.
