This is three months after hitting a stationary shopping car in my own workplace at 30-35mph ruining the front left corner body-part wise.

That one I'm a lot more embarassed over. Just plain didn't see it - I wasn't drunk or nothing.

 

You don't need a mechanic, or even a friend to unhook the fuel filter. It's just a plastic quick-disconnect thing on one end of it. Takes maybe 5 seconds to take off.

 

Took off fuel filter, filled with water, pumped all we could out, still water in tank would not start. Had to take it to the shop and spend $500 to get the tank dropped.
