underdrive pulleys....

Post underdrive pulleys....

i'll be installing these in the next couple of weeks...and i need to know if i will need a different belt since i've got bigger pulleys in there??? or will it still come out the same length....??? thanks...

yes, you'll need a shorter belt. I thought underdrive pulleys would be smaller also, but my asp crank pulley fits inside the stock crank pulley.

hell, i could be wrong which ones are smaller and which ones are bigger....?

the underdrive crank pulley is a good bit smaller than stock. and i'm guessing the alt. pulley would be larger than stock as to turn it slower.

Actually the ALT. pulley is smaller as well to turn th ALT faster to compensate for the belt underdrive. The voltage needs to stay up to power the acces.

the alternator one is slightly biggeer then stock.

As for belt size sorry I don't know it I got mine used.

you can get a shorter belt at any auto parts store. Took me about 3 tries to get the right one though. The one asp recommended was too short if i remember correctly
