suddenly won't start
Ok, strange problem. I have a '94 RS 3.4v6 with 125k miles. Recently, I had to bypass my VATS b/c my bro lost my key. Got the bypass module and it was running ok. sometimes on start up it would run rough and miss a little, but put the RpMs up to 4grand or so and let off and it would settle back into a normal idle. Ran fine for a couple days. Last night when I parked it to sell (It's for sale. 1750 obo in the North Alabama area) and tried to crank it back up it won't start. I have spark, and fuel spurts out the pressure checker valve behind the intake. Throttle body seems to be opening like it should. What would it be? Jumped time? Maybe the Idle Air control or another such sensor? It'll turn over and hit several times in a row as long as I keep the key in the start position, but let off and it doesn't hit or run. I checked the VATS bypass module, and it seems to be wired in right with no loose connections. I'm stumped.
I'm a college student during finals week. I'd normally diagnose it myself, but I have no time and even less money to try part after part in hopes it'll work. Please give me any suggestions you have, or make an offer and take it off my hands.
