I did some searching, but couldnt find something that fit my needs.

It's a 1998 with 56,000 miles.

I had the coolent flushed around 35,000

The coolent color is awfully rusty and dirty, it looks like mud! It never use to look like that! My dad seems to think it's just rust, but it's very clumpy!

Also, Temperature: It normally runs around I'd say 180-185* Sometimes if I scamper up a hill or stop at a light it goes up some then right back down, it also will get close to 210* if I'm in a city or any kind of traffic, I've also noticed it gets up there if I'm tailing behind a truck (I guess it isnt getting air)

Is it normal for a 3.8 to fluctuate that much up and down? It's really only 25* but none of our other cars ever budge regardless!

What do others find their 3.8L likes to run at and should I do anything about the coolent color and the fact that it's mud?
