check the evap canister (charcol canister should be on the drivers side right on the other side of the gas cap) make sure all the lines are tight and not leaking, do you smell any fuel when you drive? basically all it is seeing is that the fuel is not as pressurized as it was, meaning a leak, lose fuel cap etc..

it's either an early 96 or a cali car.
anywho.
I would bet that you have a borken vacuum line at the canister purge selinoid. thats the selinoid that has the line from the canister to it and then a line to the intake. Check the lines very well
anywho.

yes. it will be atched to the motor. I can not tell you specificly. you will see a selinoid. with 2 vac lines at it and a 2 wire connector. one line going to intake and another going to the canister. Follow the lines and make sure that they are intact

ok its the gas cap, i could hear a slight leak from that when i had the door open and the engine was on. the rubber part has cracks in it. i guess a new gas cap should probably fix the problem
