Question about stock paint scheme

Are the metal parts inside the engine bay on the left and right supposed to match the color of the car? Say, if you have a red car, the metal inside would be red? I assume the same goes for the metal that you can see through the vents at the bottom of the windshield? I'm just asking cause i'm paranoid because i had my car sent in for body work at the dealership and am worried that they would screw stuff up... they've done it before(they painted the part on the underside of the passenger's side door that wasn't supposed to be painted... the jack stand... it didn't match the other side of the vehicle... it's supposed to be black right?) Also, inside the front wheels... there's a part where's it's a black plastic material and near the front where it's supposed to be showingthe metal... again matching the color of the car... right?

Typically all the parts of the frame of the car should be the exterior color from the factory. Although there have been exceptions where the parts were black instead of exterior color. I had similar problem when i freiend went to buy a 95' convertable camaro. The parts under the hood were red while the car was white. I said "when was this car painted" the dealer says "why would you ask that?" we just laughed at him and left.

OK, cool thanks... looks like the car will be fine... I am just paranoid and very picky about my car when it comes to handing it over to the dealership... sometimes those guys really don't know what they're doing...believe me, they've screwed up stuff on my before.

BTW, I have a 2001 Camaro convertible, white with black top... not that it makes a difference right ?

I would've checked my friend's stock 2002 Camaro, but he ain't here right now and neither is his car.
