The fan switch is a snap to put in. It will cost you under 10 bucks for the switch, its complication will range on wheather or not you want to run both speeds of the fan or just one. It also affects which switch you will need. I put mine in about 25 minutes. All you need to do is ground the green wire in the fuse block under the hood, or tap the wire at the fan, You can also tap the blueish wire in either location for the faster speed. I feel that the low speed is fine, it can cool the car from about 220 to 180 in under a minute sitting still. And it doesnt interfear with the factory settings, aka the fan will still come on when it should. Fan switchs varry in price, The Jet Fan Switch runs 49.99 plus shipping, and SLPs switch is 70 bucks and shipping. Buying a premade switch is pointless as far as i am concerend, it does the same exact thing as the home made siwtich, and both of them simply ground the hot wire to the fan as the computer does to turn the fan on at 220 and with the a/c or defroster on. I mounted my switch next to the trunk release on the panel under the wheel.

hope that helps you out, let me know if you need further instruction.
